Unlock Your Body’s Healing Power with PRP
What is PRP?
PRP is a component of your own blood that we are able to separate and create a concentrated growth factor cocktail that we then can either inject into areas of concern such as the scalp and under eyes or apply it topically simultaneously with other treatments to enhance results and speed up recovery such as those with microneedling or Morpheus8 treatments. PRP is used to stimulate collagen production, promote and accelerate healing, and stimulate other protein production that help the skin and hair.
Improvements may be seen in:
- Hair growth, thickness, and health
- Under eye dark circles, fine lines/wrinkles
- Face/Neck/Décolleté fine lines/wrinkles, scarring, and recovery time
What’s nice about this is that it uses your own blood and it has minimal risks!

FAQs
-
How much is PRP?
Under-Eye PRP injections: $400/single treatment or $1,100/series of three treatments
Scalp PRP injections: $400/single treatment or $1,100/series of three treatments
PRP ‘Add On’ (offered topically with microneedling or Morpheus8): $350/single treatment or $975/series of three treatments
The number of treatments depends on what is being treated. Typically, we would recommend 1-3 injection treatments for under-eye concerns and 3-6 injection treatments for scalp/hair concerns with 1-2 treatments annually for maintenance. Treatments are typically spaced 4-6 weeks apart.
-
Is it comfortable?
Most find PRP injections and/or PRP applied topically very comfortable. In most cases, both instances we will use topical numbing cream prior to treatments which helps ease discomfort.
-
When will I see results?
It depends on what it is we are treating but in most cases, you may notice an improvement in concerns around 4-6 weeks after your first treatment but it may take up to 3-6 months after your last treatment before optimal results.

Scheduling Recommendations
- Immediately following PRP injections you may have moderate swelling for about 24 hrs but most swelling will be gone in about 48 hr. Give it a full 2 weeks after treatment for the swelling to be completely gone.
- Plan as if you will have bruising for up to 2 weeks. We will do our best to minimize the chances of bruising but plan your life accordingly as if you will. Let your provider know if you take any Ibuprofen, Advil, Aleve, Naproxen, Aspirin, Steroids, Fish Oil, Ginger, Ginkgo Biloba, or other blood thinners.
- A variable in your overall result is your health. Because we are using your own blood you want to make sure your treatments are scheduled when you are feeling strong and healthy.
- On the day of your treatment, eat a full, healthy breakfast and be sure to drink plenty of water.
- If you are getting your scalp treated please make sure to wash your hair right before your treatment and do not apply any other hair products.
