Say goodbye to dead skin!
What is Dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses a medical-grade surgical blade to remove dead skin as well as vellus hair. Often times dermaplaning gets mistaken for shaving. The difference is the blade being used. A Dermaplane blade does not have a jagged edge and is able to lay right against the skin making this procedure more effective. A single dermaplaning session is able to remove around 2-3 weeks of built-up dead skin cells and debris.
There is no need to worry about the hair growing back thicker and darker- dermaplaning targets the vellus hair (peach fuzz) that grows back the same size and color.
How much does it cost?
• $85/stand-alone service
• $55/add on service
What is the process?
A surgical blade is used to exfoliate the skin and remove vellus hair.
What does it do?
Dermaplaning helps skincare products absorb better into the skin and improves the skin’s texture making it more youthful and radiant.
Is there downtime?
There is no downtime following a dermplaning facial. However, direct sun exposure and extreme heat are not recommended immediately post-treatment, and an SPF of at least 30 should be applied daily. Avoid using exfoliating products and retinols for at least three to five days following treatment.
Some patients may experience a slight tingle when skincare products are applied post-treatment. This is normal and will subside.
