Dermaplaning is a non-invasive exfoliation treatment that uses a medical-grade surgical blade to remove dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (peach fuzz). Unlike shaving, dermaplaning is performed with a precision blade that lays flat against the skin to effectively resurface and smooth the skin. One session clears away 2–3 weeks of built-up skin and debris, revealing a refreshed glow.

What is the process?

What does it do?

Dermaplaning helps skincare products absorb better into the skin and improves the skin’s texture making it more youthful and radiant.

Is there downtime?

There is no downtime following a dermplaning facial. However, direct sun exposure and extreme heat are not recommended immediately post-treatment, and and a Broad Spectrum SPF of at least 30 should be applied daily. Avoid using exfoliating products and retinols for at least three to five days following treatment.

Some patients may experience a slight tingle when skincare products are applied post-treatment. This is normal and will subside.
